
Leah Spingarn | ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Leah Spingarn is an Associate of the Estate Administration Team. Leah completed her undergraduate degree at Bates College with a major in social psychology and a minor in philosophy before enrolling in Northeastern University School of Law where she received a Juris Doctor degree.
Prior to law school, Leah lived in New York City for several years. In New York, Leah served on a City Year team at Public School 83 in East Harlem and spent two years working in the Professional Development and Training Department at Ropes & Gray, LLP.
In law school, Leah served as senior editor of Northeastern’s Law Review. In the fall of 2021, Leah completed an internship with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Shortly after, Leah participated in a judicial internship under the supervision of the Honorable Hélène Kazanjian, splitting her time between criminal and business litigation sessions. More recently, Leah worked as an intern with GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) engaging in legal research, legislative advocacy, and educational initiatives to address discrimination based on gender identity and expression, HIV status, and sexual orientation.
