SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY
Email: Robert.Connelly@lhhlegal.com
Robert Connelly is a seasoned trial attorney who represents businesses in litigation of all types. Robert understands that these disputes threaten the very existence of a business, and zealously advocates for his clients in and out of court. Because of his trial and litigation background, he also knows the value of resolving disputes out of the courtroom through negotiation and alternative dispute resolution. To that end, he works closely with his clients to ensure his representation meets their goals and needs.
Robert is a tireless investigator, using skills developed from years litigating complex criminal and civil cases to assist businesses in conducting internal investigations. His attention to detail and wealth of experience makes him a valuable resource to businesses and individuals seeking to protect their rights and resolve their disputes.
A decorated U.S. Army veteran with a deployment to Afghanistan, Robert has significant experience providing legal and analytical services in both the private and public sectors. Following his time on active duty, Robert served in the Maine Army National Guard’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate. He then went to work as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office where he investigated and tried dozens of complex cases, including motor vehicle homicide, felony assault, and gun and drug offenses.
Since leaving the District Attorney’s Office, Robert has been in private practice where he continues to demonstrate his versatility as an attorney. He routinely represents clients in state and federal courts and has earned a reputation as a dogged investigator and passionate courtroom advocate. From defending a small, family-owned business in a wrongful death claim, to representing a local window manufacturer against a national real estate developer, to pursuing breach of contract claims against a national chain in commercial arbitration, Robert has built his career on tenaciously defending his clients’ interests and rights.
