Andrew Lynn, Esq. is of counsel to Long Hagan Huff-Harris and is based in Somerville, Massachusetts where he represents small businesses, startups and individuals on projects ranging from individual wills, to drafting of contracts for employment, intellectual property licensing, business acquisitions and technology company mergers and acquisitions. He advises the firm in strategic and planning matters including business planning and transactions, estate planning, contract drafting and intellectual property.
Before entering private practice, Attorney Lynn gained legal experience in the Massachusetts Land Court, the Miami office of the American Civil Liberties Union, the legal department at The MathWorks, and the Technology Transactions and Licensing team at GTC Law Group. He is a graduate of the Northeastern University School of Law, where his team in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court competition in trademark and unfair competition law placed third in the northeast region.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Attorney Lynn worked as an architectural designer in New York and Boston firms on a range of commercial, K-12 and higher education projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Masters of Architecture degree from Syracuse. While at MIT he worked as a research assistant in wearable computing at the Media Lab, helping to develop projects that were early predecessors to current smartphone apps and Google Glass. At Syracuse, he was awarded a scholarship for academic excellence, served as both research and teaching assistant and showed work at the Urban Center of New York City and the MAK Center of Los Angeles.
